The excellent resistance of brass to corrosion and high temperatures, make this alloy an ideal material for use in the distribution and supply of water. ATUSA Brass Fittings are produced in CW617N brass according to EN 12165 standard.
Sanitary installations with a maximum working pressure of 25 bar and cold water. Are unsuitable for heating installations.
Being a material with a low oxidation rate, brass is widely used in installations in contact with oxygen. However, in underground installations it must be protected as it may be attacked by components in the medium that cause corrosion.
